Its a good book. But, the movie was heaps better. My English teacher forced me to read it.

Very interesting to read. Beautiful meaning. Shows truth about the rich compared to the poor, and what a strong connection of love can make people do.
  • The most astounding book ever.

A book not about the love between a man and a woman, but rather about the love between a man and his delusions
  • Wonderful

I read this book and the movie. Who can resist? I absolutely recommend this book!
  • Absolutely Stellar

After reading this in English class this quickly escalated to one of my favourite books. Every single sentence has some sort if purpose, be it delving into the mindset of characters or making a comment on the illusion of the American Dream. My only quarrel with the text was the symbology of Dr T. J. Eckleberg and how it transcended into something God-like. It seemed somewhat out of place, or at least, wasn't explored well enough.

Thought the movie added something to this rather dull tale
