  • Nine Perfect Strangers

    By julz26f
As always with Liane Moriarty’s books, I loved it. She never fails to get her readers deeply enmeshed with the story. Just wish there was another book I haven’t already read for me to start straight away.
  • Great Start, Rushed Ending

I loved the start, but it became humdrum towards the end. Not every character needs an explanation or final word. Overall the characters are loveable, which forgives the rushed ending.

    Loved every page.
  • Could take it or leave it

This is my least favourite out of all of the books she’s written
  • Nine perfect strangers

Not her best. The story meanders through the lives of these nine people but there is nothing that really keeps the reader engaged. There is little in the way of plot and I got sick of hearing them whinge and wine. At the start I thought this would be a great read but was soon disappointed. The ending also failed to satisfy. It seemed the author also got tired of the characters and finished the book as quickly as she could.
  • Disappointed

Not one of her best. Boring, slow storyline which was extremely hard to get into to. I love Liane’s books and was excited to read this one but was so disappointed and couldn’t even finish it. Hopefully the TV series will be better.
  • So disappointing, don’t bother.....

Really disappointed with this book, I was so looking forward to reading it but it was a struggle to get through. So different to previous books that I really enjoyed. Patchy, bizarre story.
  • Terrible

Have read of all Liane’s novels and so got this book to read for a long haul flight. The book sadly such a disappointment, definitely not her best work.
  • Relunctently disappointed

    By GoldenMicGirl
I’ve been a fan of Liane’s for a long time. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the usual twist at the end but this book felt like it was written by someone else. Maybe just like the character Frances she was going for something different. I’m sorry to say that I struggled to get through it and was disappointed. The story line was a bit stupid and unrealistic.
  • Disappointing

Coming off the success of the TV adaption of Big Little Lies which was fantastic Lianne had big expectations to meet. I didn’t enjoy this book as much as her others. Too many characters and found the story line boring at times.
