Description

JACK REACHER NEVER LOOKS BACK . . . UNTIL NOW.

The most hotly anticipated thriller of the year follows our hero Jack Reacher on a quest into his father's past, and climaxes in the most blood-curdling ticking time bomb of an adventure yet.

The present can be tense . . .

A young couple trying to get to New York City are stranded at a lonely motel in the middle of nowhere. Before long they’re trapped in an ominous game of life and death.

But the past can be worse . . .

Meanwhile, Jack Reacher sets out on an epic road trip across America. He doesn’t get far. Deep in the New England woods, he sees a sign to a place he has never been - the town where his father was born. But when he arrives he is told no one named Reacher ever lived there. Now he wonders: who’s lying?

As the tension ratchets up and these two stories begin to entwine, the stakes have never been higher for Reacher.

That’s for damn sure.

This book is too heavy in descriptions instead of action or interaction. It’s like he couldn’t expand the storyline so he increased descriptions of EVERY thought, EVERY step, EVERYTHING

Terrific ! And to those who disagree, kindly Start at Book 1 and continue until Book 23 (As I Have) and you will have educated yourself with the dexterity of the writer and hopefully enjoyed the trip.

As always with Lee Child books, as soon as I finish one, I’m waiting for the next....great reads, all of them.

Unless you enjoy reading really detailed descriptions of the most mundane daily activities give this book a miss ,Ive read all the reacher books and have been a fan but I got to page 390 and just couldn’t do it anymore . Way to many unnecessary words just to fill pages. Waste of money

Once again a can’t put down adventure. He may be getting on but he still has the goods to see things right. A great deviation and enthralling storyline. Have read them all and they just keep getting better. Don’t know what Mr Negative is on about, held me until l had finished. Well done again Lee Child! John Grant No 1 fan.

This was as good as the early ones - back to the Reacher core essentials - but with a great family history angle, and an unexpected love interest.

Ordinary at best Agree with the other review, poorly written. I got through it by reading every second page.
