Description

This is the only money guide you'll ever need
That's a bold claim, given there are already thousands of finance books on the shelves.

So what makes this one different?

Well, you won't be overwhelmed with a bunch of 'tips' … or a strict budget (that you won't follow).

You'll get a step-by-step formula: open this account, then do this; call this person, and say this; invest money here, and not there. All with a glass of wine in your hand.

This book will show you how to create an entire financial plan that is so simple you can sketch it on the back of a serviette … and you'll be able to manage your money in 10 minutes a week.

You'll also get the skinny on:
Saving up a six-figure house deposit in 20 months Doubling your income using the 'Trapeze Strategy' Saving $78,173 on your mortgage and wiping out 7 years of payments Finding a financial advisor who won't rip you off Handing your kids (or grandkids) a $140,000 cheque on their 21st birthday Why you don't need $1 million to retire … with the 'Donald Bradman Retirement Strategy'
Sound too good to be true? It's not.

This book is full of stories from everyday Aussies — single people, young families, empty nesters, retirees — who have applied the simple steps in this book and achieved amazing, life-changing results.

And you're next.

This book was recommended by a friend and at first I started reading reluctantly. However, as I read, I found it extremely easy to read. To top it off this book has revolutionised my life! I now have a life plan with a budget where my debts will be paid off, I’ll have a great amount in emergency savings AND I’ll have money for splurging as well. If you don’t AT LEAST Read this book, you are missing out! The price tag is almost nothing compared to the value it provides. Consider it an investment in your future.

I’m not in any financial trouble but I had concerns and questions about how to prepare for the future better and how to set up my kids better and this has been the best help. A few ideas and I know I’m going to be giving my kids some fantastic lessons, knowledge and security plus I’ll be able to travel later on with less stress on how to afford it. Win Win!!

I have always been decent with my money. I use a online budget (you need a budget) and I am able to manage my money in different categories accordingly. Barefoot Investor for me has opened my eyes on better ways to manage my money and be financially secure in the future. Scott goes above and beyond to explain what you can do to change your income for the better. Surprisingly entertaining and very descriptive.

Fantastically written in a way that anyone can understand despite their Age or Financial Literacy. The clearly non-biased opinions Scott has given in this book are a refreshing far-cry from most advice found elsewhere.
  • Highly recommended

This book has been great in providing me with financial direction and goals where previously I had none. I’m in my early 40’s but I think young people would do well to read this book to help set themselves up financially as soon as they start earning an income.
